FREEPORT, IL (WREX) - The Highland Community College men's basketball team shot out to a 9-2 lead over 10th ranked Kankakee early in the Region IV title game. The Cavaliers rallied to take the lead at 30-28 midway through the opening half. The Cougars regained their composure to take a 4 point lead into the half.
